In this role, you will be primarily responsible for performing a variety of yard work and equipment delivery related duties while maintaining a high level of consideration for safety and operational compliance. This is a fast paced environment, and strong attention to detail is required. Previous experience as a general laborer, construction, or a warehouse environment is preferred. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with the delivery and unloading of our equipment at customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner. Follow TSC policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly and safely. Assist with the coordination of delivery schedules using the most time efficient routes. May be assigned to jobs that require working after regular hours. Effectively communicate and coordinate with customers, dispatchers and supervisors. Provide a high level of customer service while on all job sites. Occasional local travel during the workday. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Must possess a valid and clean commercial Class C Driver's License issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Crane certification preferred, however if candidate is not certified at the time of employment, company will train for crane certified operations. Capable of reading, understanding and following company procedures. Other skills required: Forklift operation and welding experience is desirable. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems.
