POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Equipment Technology Specialist will primarily support the senior management team in achieving the goals of the Heavy Equipment department. This role focuses on organizing, tracking, and analyzing equipment-related tasks and data to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. This position is expected to uphold the company’s standards for safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the company’s telematic systems and GPS tracking for vehicles and equipment.
  • Process, organize, and manage department oil samples.
  • Track and verify performance of preventive maintenance (PM) services.
  • Set up new equipment files and document significant repairs.
  • Review daily equipment inspection reports and distribute deficiency notifications.
  • Assist with tracking fleet operating costs and department budgets.
  • Support development and implementation of new programs and procedures to improve department performance.
  • Monitor crane inspection schedules and alert management before expiration dates.
  • Improve warranty tracking for new equipment, parts, services, and reconditioned components.
  • Oversee acquisition, storage, and disposal of lubrication and fluid products.
  • Organize and manage equipment parts inventory at the company’s main facility.
