As a GSE (Ground Support Equipment) Equipment Tool Designer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing moderate to complex equipment and tooling concepts to meet the stringent requirements of aerospace product design and manufacturing. You will actively participate in design reviews, gather design requirements, create and refine drawings and models, and explore the integration of robotics, automation, and cutting-edge technologies to enhance the build process. Your role will involve creating documentation, specifications, and instructions for the procurement, utilization, maintenance, and inspection of equipment and tooling. Additionally, you will provide technical support for engineering changes and discrepancies, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.Responsibilities:-Investigate and develop equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to support manufacturing needs.-Participate in design reviews, gather design requirements, and create detailed drawings and models.-Research and explore the application of robotics, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance manufacturing processes.-Develop off-load packages, specifications, purchase requests, and usage instructions for equipment and tooling.-Ensure designs comply with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors, and regulatory requirements.-Develop and document inspection procedures, preventative maintenance plans, and user training materials for equipment and tooling.-Provide technical support for engineering changes and discrepancies by investigating problems and analyzing data to identify solutions.-Assess and make recommendations for the disposition of equipment and tooling.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. 5+ years Tool Engineer and Ground support equipment or related field (mechanical design engineer
2. 5+ years Proficiency in AUTO CAD, Inventor CAD, Solidworks CAD (any 3-D CAD Software)
3. Bachelors in STEM
