Description

Overview Equipment assistant/general maintenance day to day duties include of moving, lifting, organizing parts, assisting with pickup and delivery of vehicles and different items throughout the segments on the project. What you will be doing Operate a forklift while following all company safety policies and procedures Pick up deliveries, run business errands for segments, will order/pick up equipment and/ or parts. Picking up and delivering small equipment/trucks Assist with conducting DOT inspections Assist with vehicle Service maintenance Other tasks as assigned What we are looking for Must be able to understand and carry out oral instructions Must be able to count, make simple arithmetic additions and subtractions Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measure, gauges, and rulers Operate equipment such as autos, trucks, and forklifts Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to withstand standing/walking/driving for long periods of time Turning/twisting/bending/crouching/kneeling/reaching overhead 100% Regular, reliable attendance Must have a clean driving record Must have a valid California Driver’s License Why work for us Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are: Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program Tuition Reimbursement Program We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.
