As an Equity Derivatives Middle Office Trade Support Analyst in the Tokyo team, you will ensure accurate trade capture, risk management, and regulatory compliance for OTC equity derivatives and cash equities. You will work closely with traders, operations, and other stakeholders to resolve queries and support new business initiatives. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help maintain a strong control environment. You will contribute to process improvements and project management across local, regional, and global initiatives. The Equity Derivatives Middle Office Trade Support team provides essential support to trading desks, prime brokerage, and cash equity operations. You will be involved in end-to-end trade lifecycle management, regulatory reporting, and efficiency realization projects. Job responsibilities Capture trades for OTC derivatives and cash equities executed by the Tokyo trading desk Ensure risk is accurately reflected in the risk management system Monitor and address control breaks promptly Prepare and submit regulatory reporting as required Respond to ad hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders Drive and implement process improvement initiatives Analyze and support new business initiatives Manage projects related to end-to-end reviews, efficiency realization, and new initiatives at local, regional, and global levels Collaborate with traders, operations, and other teams to resolve issues and support business needs Maintain high standards of accuracy and control in all processes Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Bachelor's degree Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills Strong communication skills, with ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Attention to detail and strong numerical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Experience with OTC equity derivatives or prime brokerage products Experience in a middle office or trade support role preferred Familiarity with digital tools such as RPA or Alteryx Project management experience in financial services Exposure to regulatory reporting requirements Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement Ability to drive change and support business growth initiatives
