Partnering closely with senior leaders and Accountable Persons, you’ll ensure the organisation operates in a compliant, well-governed, and risk-aware manner. You’ll be at the forefront of interpreting changes in the industrial and regulatory landscape—translating them into practical, commercially sound business actions that support sustainable People & Culture outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:  Industrial Relations •    Lead complex employee relations advice and industrial instrument interpretation •    Drive IR risk management, compliance, and remuneration governance •    Manage key stakeholder relationships and enterprise agreement delivery FAR (Financial Accountability Regime) •    Provide trusted FAR advice to senior leaders and Accountable Persons •    Embed accountability frameworks and governance practices •    Ensure accurate regulatory reporting and program maturity Policy & Governance •    Own and evolve Employee Relations policies and frameworks •    Ensure compliance, relevance, and strong governance practices About You: You are a confident and commercially minded professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong influencing skills. You’ll also bring: •    Extensive experience in industrial relations, ideally within financial services •    Knowledge of the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) and related legislation •    Proven ability to interpret legislation and provide strategic advice •    Experience developing and implementing governance frameworks and policies •    Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills •    The ability to navigate complexity and deliver practical business solutions Qualifications •    Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, Risk, or Compliance is also required   Why you’ll love working with us: People First Bank – our new brand – says exactly what we’re all about: people.
