Responsible for obtaining complete and accurate patient data during the registration process, including insurance verification as well as necessary signatures. To present a professional and caring image to patients, visitors and hospital staff. Managing responsibilities effectively and efficiently to avoid interference with patient care. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Education Required: High School Diploma/GED 2. License(s) Required None 3. Experience/Skills: * 6 Months experience as an ER Registrar is preferred. * PC Proficient with knowledge of Medical Terminology * Bi-lingual Spanish/English Required. * Knowledge of EPIC preferred * Typing – Minimum 25-30 wpm * Accurate attention to detail. * Able to work with minimal supervision. * Must be a TEAM PLAYER.
