Job Overview/Summary: The ERD Assistant will support the day-to-day implementation and administration of IRC’s Economic Recovery and Development (ERD) programs in Erbil and field locations. This role bridges the operational and administrative needs of the ERD unit—ensuring efficient processing of program documents, logistical arrangements, financial tracking, and coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders. The ERD Assistant will work closely with the ERD Coordinator, ERD manager, Senior Officers, and field teams to ensure timely and compliant implementation of activities. Major Responsibilities: Prepare and process routine administrative paperwork such as purchase requests, payment requests, cash advances, liquidation forms, recruitment requests, and travel requests. Support the preparation and submission of Item Forecasts for supplies, services, and events through Integra. Follow up on the approval flow of requests with Finance, Supply Chain, and HR departments. Support in maintaining and updating the ERD Spending Plan, ensuring timely reflection of commitments and payments. Prepare and update procurement and cash forecasts in coordination with the ERD team. Maintain organized and complete digital and hardcopy filing systems for ERD administrative and financial documents. Support in archiving all project-related papers, ensuring compliance with IRC and donor documentation standards. Maintain trackers for administrative actions, payments, and procurement progress. Assist in organizing and supporting workshops, meetings, and training events (venue booking, supplies, participant lists, refreshments, etc.). Prepare meeting minutes and attendance sheets and ensure proper documentation of all ERD events. Coordinate with internal departments (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Admin) to follow up on ongoing administrative requests. Support the Senior Officer in monitoring delivery and distribution activities as needed. Update and maintain ERD tracking sheets for administrative and procurement actions. Support data collection and simple analysis related to program logistics, spending, or field activity support. Provide regular updates on pending requests and administrative bottlenecks to the ERD Coordinator/Sr. Officer. Support ERD field teams in activity implementation, monitoring visits, and community events when required. Maintain and update the ERD asset list and office supplies inventory. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor to support ERD operations. Key Working Relationships: Position Reports to ERD Coordinator. Position technically supervised by: ERD Coordinator. Position directly supervises: N/A Indirect Reporting: N/A Internal: Supply Chain, Finance, and Human Resources IRC offices in Iraq. External: Local partner’s admin teams. Job Requirements: At least two years’ Experience in the humanitarian/development sector within IRC or other INGOs. Education: University studies in Business administration or related fields. Demonstrated Skills and Competencies: Spoken and written English is highly preferred; Arabic and Kurdish are required. Personal qualities: Works well in and promotes teamwork, is detail-oriented, honest, flexible, and able to handle pressure well. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and have good knowledge of using online applications, especially those related to finance, such as BVA. Total benefits: Salary range: (1,463,616 – 1,829,520) Iraqi Dinars, based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget, as well as calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements. 13th-month salary per year. 21 days of leave and 15 days of paid holidays per year.
