65% - IMPLEMENTS NEW FUNCTIONALITY ENHANCEMENTS/IMPLEMENTATIONS/MAINTENANCE

  • Technical Analysis and Design: Analyzes business needs and designs technical solutions within the PeopleSoft framework.
  • Development and Customization: Develops, codes, and customizes PeopleSoft applications to enhance functionality. Work with business units to implement new functionality.
  • System Integration: Integrates PeopleSoft applications with other systems and ensures seamless data flow.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Creates test plans, conducts tests, and ensures the quality and reliability of PeopleSoft applications. Assist with user acceptance testing.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provides ongoing technical support, troubleshoots issues, and performs regular maintenance. Follows standard procedures in managing assigned service desk tickets related to application issues. Provide support during upgrades.
  • Documentation: Creates and maintains functional and technical documentation for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Collaboration: Works closely with business users, other technical teams, and vendors to ensure PeopleSoft applications meet organizational needs.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Performs data analysis and generates reports to support business decisions.
  • Implements application security best practices in accordance with industry standards for similar systems and environments

QUALIFICATIONS

Two years of related experience. A postsecondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of direct experience; 2 years for an associate’s degree, 4 years for a bachelor’s degree, 6 years for a master’s degree, 7 years for a professional degree, or 9 years for a doctoral degree.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of relational database design, programming and reporting concepts and tools
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting, to extract and present meaningful information from ERP systems
  • Knowledge of system integration techniques and technologies
  • Ability to work well under pressure, to work on multiple projects and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure that ERP solutions are aligned with business goals
  • Detail-oriented/Thorough Documentation: Ability to keep detailed records of systems configurations, changes, and processes to facilitate troubleshooting and future upgrades
  • User-Centric Approach: Ability to focus on the end-users, their experiences, and their needs to ensure the ERP system is user-friendly and effective
  • Proactive Issue Resolution: Knows how to identify and address potential issues before they escalate, using diagnostic tools and regular system monitoring
