KEY SKILLS:

• Proven experience in SAP implementation projects.
• Strong business process understanding in logistics modules and intercompany processes.
• Hands-on expertise (customisation or configuration) on the core functions of Logistics Execution, nearly always focuses on complex goods receipt and goods issue processes.
• General understanding of Integration with Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning.
• Problem-solving skills to identify, analyse and assist in solving business application problems in an ERP environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to make a difference.
• Self-driven.

HOW THE ROLE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

As an SAP LE/SD specialist, you will align technology with business strategy.
You will work directly with internal clients to gather requirements, analyse, design and implement best practices and business solutions.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding and documenting the functional and technical requirements.
• Process analysis, design/redesign for mapping the execution of logistics processes.
• Build, test and deploy SAP best practices and improve business processes in the areas of Logistics, Sales and Supply Chain.
• Manage tickets, lead tasks and projects to ensure the project’s success is obtained and support the SAP users of the entire Quanex International division.
• Supporting warehouse operations by running the WM solution adopted since being the main IT platform supporting the business distributing our products.Some travel to our Carlisle site as and when needed to offer business support.
