Description

Piper Companies is seeking an ERP Business Analyst to join a premier enterprise technology team based in Herndon, VA. The ERP Business Analyst will work directly with clients to assess their current ERP systems, chart of accounts, and financial workflows. This position will be hybrid in Herndon, VA!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ERP BUSINESS ANALYST INCLUDE:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in ERP or financial systems
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in Agile or cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with data integration and mapping tools is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to understand their ERP setup, including chart of accounts and financial processes
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications and deliverables
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure accurate data mapping and integration
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows and improve ERP efficiency
  • Support testing, validation, and user training efforts
  • Create technical documentation detailing ERP configurations and workflows
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on ERP systems and financial process optimization
  • Participate in client meetings and workshops as needed (10%)
