SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This position is responsible for post-production support, troubleshooting/resolution, and systems administration of Oracle applications, including discrete manufacturing, supply chain, order management, engineering, quality, depot repair, and financials. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, streamline processes, and implement innovative solutions that drive efficiency and support our organization’s growth objectives.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college/University in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP software, such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar.
  • Proficiency with reporting tools such as PowerBI, SplashBI, SQL, or Tableau required.
  • Proficient in data analysis and report generation.
  • Proven experience in business process mapping and analysis.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience with system testing and validation procedures.
Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and document business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization within the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for ERP solutions.
  • Design and propose ERP solutions that align with business needs and goals.
  • Assist in configuring and customizing ERP systems to meet specific business requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to bridge functional gaps in the ERP system.
  • Facilitate and lead workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and understanding of ERP processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, system designs, and user guides.
  • Provide support during ERP implementation, including testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure effective use of the ERP system.
  • Monitor and evaluate ERP system performance and recommend enhancements or upgrades as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data integrity and system security.
  • Stay updated with ERP trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
  • Assist in managing change management processes related to ERP system updates and implementations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to communicate project status, risks, and benefits.
  • Support post-implementation reviews to ensure project objectives and business needs are met.
  • All other duties as assigned.
