Job Title: ERP Data Analyst
Department & Location: Business Systems Team, Vulcan Way, Coalville
Reporting To: Business Systems Manager
Office based / hybrid: Hybrid Role (office based training period)
Salary and benefits: £40k-£45k depending on experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

· Strong analytical skills with proven experience in data manipulation and reporting.
· Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with related data analysis tools.
· Proficiency in Power BI (essential), with the ability to design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports.
· Experience using Jaspersoft (highly desirable) to support ERP reporting requirements.
· Good understanding of data structures and database principles.
· Experience writing and optimising SQL queries.
· Previous experience working with ERP systems (Datafile or others).
· Demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high data accuracy and integrity.
· Experience of ERP system implementations (desirable).
· Exposure to business process reviews and system improvement projects (desirable).

The CMS Group is growing and supplies crushing parts for the mining and aggregate industries exporting to 130+ countries. With operations in the UK, US, Chile, and Australia We currently have approximately 140 employees in the UK with a global headcount approaching 200.
We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Business Systems Team, as part of this opportunity you will play a hands-on role in shaping how the business uses data and technology. This is your chance to make a real impact by helping us continually develop and improve our ERP system (Datafile), ensuring it delivers powerful insights and supports smarter ways of working across the group.
From day one, you will receive training on Datafile, which will allow you to quickly support colleagues with their day-to-day queries. You’ll also get stuck into building reports and dashboards with tools like Power BI, Jaspersoft, and SQL, turning complex data into actionable insights that drive better decisions. Alongside supporting business users, you’ll have the chance to contribute to system development, process improvements, and ERP implementation projects, giving you a unique opportunity to grow your skills and expand your career in business systems and analytics.
