Position Summary: Burt Process Equipment is a global fluid handling equipment distributor and system manufacturer dedicated to best serving our customers. In 2023, Burt Process Equipment went live with IFS Cloud ERP software to help manage our business needs. The ERP Developer role is primarily focused on providing an ever-improving ERP experience to users throughout the company and improving the efficiency of manual tasks through automation. Typical requirements include, but are not limited to, creating custom fields, writing SQL reports, designing and developing business process automation workflows, developing custom solutions, migrating data between systems, and integrating separate systems using middleware iPaaS. The ideal candidate understands the business impact of technical changes and is able to identify areas of improvement along with the technical solution for that business improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
· 2-5 years of experience working with SQL databases.
· Proficiency with relational database design, ETL processes, and at least one SQL language, preferably PL/SQL.
· Aptitude in at least one non-database programming language (e.g. JavaScript, Java, Python).
· Experience with Git or other version control tools.
· Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
· Experience with Postman, Boomi, PowerBI, or Camunda BPA (Preferred).
· IFS or other ERP Development/Customization Experience (Preferred).
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline (Preferred).
· Knowledge of using AI to automate processes (Preferred).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to lift 10 lbs. unaided.
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
· Must be able to type, bend and reach.

Responsibilities

· Develop customizations, reports, integrations, and modifications in, or with, the IFS Cloud ERP system.
· Write custom PL/SQL packages and procedures, or modify existing ones.
· Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code.
· Problem-solve issues brought up by users and leaders.
· Test and debug software to ensure functionality and performance.
· Write ETL scripts for data extraction and transformation from legacy systems.
· Migrate data from legacy systems into IFS using the available IFS migration tools.
· Automate business process workflows to improve efficiency.
· Contribute to system documentation and user manuals as needed.
· Maintain and support existing software systems and applications.
· Stay up-to-date on relevant IFS software updates.
· Provide meaningful input during functional and cross-functional discussions.
· Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Understand business problems and develop technical solutions to those problems.
