OVERVIEW

We are looking for an organised and tech savvy individual to join our office team as an ERP & Ecommerce Administrator. This role is an excellent opportunity to help maintain and assist in shaping operational processes within a growing company. While the role encompasses both ERP and e-commerce administration, the day to day focus is on maintaining the e-commerce operation by updating products, pages, blogs and more (development knowledge not required). If problems are to arise with the ERP system, your job will be to prioritise those problems and work with the team and management to investigate and assist in providing a solution.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency and confidence in using IT systems along with soft skills for problem solving, including basic Microsoft programs such as Outlook and Excel.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and potentially engage with customers.
  • (Desirable) Familiarity with ERP systems and processes.
  • (Desirable) Customer service experience to effectively handle enquiries and provide support.
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of builders/timber merchant industry to better understand and cater to the needs of our clientele.
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of WordPress/WooCommerce dashboards and SEO for maintaining the website (developer knowledge not required).

Responsibilities

DUTIES

When there are no urgent needs that need to be met with the ERP system, you will support the eCommerce platform by carrying out multiple duties including:

  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on the website while following SEO principles.
  • Assist in the life cycle of web orders, including order processing and customer communication.
  • Troubleshoot website issues, collate relevant and accurate information to pass on to third party support if required (development knowledge not required).
  • Respond to queries through various channels, including telephone, email, and website chat.

ERP DUTIES:

  • Update product specifications and information in the ERP system.
  • Support the maintenance of data cleanliness through collaboration with respective departments.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues while identifying solutions for both existing and new processes.
    This position is primarily a content and process management role, however you may need to speak to customers or handle customer queries, support or other general administration such as processing regular sales orders and handling refund requests.
