Description

Are you passionate about using your IT skills to create real impact? Do you enjoy working at the intersection of business, systems, and technology – and want to take ownership of a critical ERP landscape in transition? Then come and be part of something meaningful.

WHO WE ARE

DanChurchAid supports people in the world’s poorest countries in their struggle for a dignified life and helps those whose lives are in danger. We intervene with humanitarian aid in disaster-stricken areas, provide long-term support through development aid in poor areas and promote initiatives to create a more equal and sustainable world.
We show leadership and continue a 100-year tradition of hope and action. DanChurchAid is active in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Ukraine with a presence in 19 countries and works to achieve four global goals: Saving lives, Building resilient societies, Combating extreme inequality and Creating engagement. These goals reflect our work across humanitarian efforts, development and human rights.
This is an opportunity to join an organisation where your work truly makes a difference, and where you will be trusted to help shape your role and the future of our systems.

Responsibilities

YOUR CONTRIBUTION IS APPRECIATED, AND YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Act as the ERP IT System Owner from the IT side, initially for our current Maconomy centred solution, and over time for the planned new, integrated ERP solution
  • Participate in the implementation of the new ERP solution
  • Maintain close collaboration with the Finance unit and ensure that the solution supports their needs and goals - together with the Product Owner in the Finance unit
  • Ensure efficient configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and system improvements – together with the ERP System Administrator in the IT unit
  • Coordinate development and maintenance activities in collaboration with internal resources and external suppliers
  • Serve as Integration Specialist, maintaining and improving connections between ERP and surrounding systems
  • Create overview of the ERP system landscape and help design a more connected future
  • Develop and maintain documentation, guides, and system standards together with Finance and IT

As a person we expect that you resonate with our purpose and:

  • You thrive in a role where structure, technical understanding and collaboration are equally important.
  • You have a solid grasp of ERP systems and know how to keep them running – but you’re also motivated by being part of something bigger: building new solutions, improving processes, and contributing to a greater purpose.
  • You have a natural authority and take responsibility for progress and quality, while being a team player who contributes to a good working environment
