Description The Manufacturing Planner (ERP Focus – Microsoft Dynamics 365) is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed production and material plans that align with business objectives, customer demand, and manufacturing capacity. This role leverages Microsoft Dynamics 365 to optimize scheduling, materials management, and data integrity across the production process. The ideal candidate combines strong manufacturing planning experience with deep functional knowledge of D365’s Production and Supply Chain modules. Requirements Develop and maintain master production schedules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to ensure alignment between demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels. Use D365’s Master Planning and MRP modules to create, release, and manage production orders and purchase requisitions. Maintain and optimize D365 data accuracy—including bills of material (BOMs), routings, resource groups, and lead times. Monitor and adjust production plans based on changes in demand, supply, or manufacturing capacity. Analyze ERP outputs to identify shortages, capacity constraints, and schedule risks; communicate corrective actions. Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure material availability and production readiness. Generate and maintain reports and dashboards in D365 to monitor schedule adherence, inventory health, and production performance. Support the implementation of planning-related process improvements and ERP configuration updates. Assist in user testing, documentation, and training related to planning functions within D365. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve on-time delivery.
