Tasks and challenges

• Support, further development and monitoring of our ERP applications in day-to-day business
• Error analysis in process chains, data flows and system-side processes
• Interface management between ERP, internal systems and specialist departments, e.g. WMS, CRM or BI
• Data analysis and data correction in the ERP environment, e.g. using SQL queries, logs or system evaluations.
• Documentation of processes, configurations and operational procedures – from a system and technical perspective
• Participation in projects for the optimization, digitization and further development of our ERP landscape, e.g. during release changes, rollouts or process harmonizations.
• Analysis and resolution of malfunctions in 1st and 2nd level support.
• Close collaboration with specialist departments, IT, partners and external service providers

Strengths that enrich our team

• Completed vocational training or studies in an IT or commercial-technical field (e.g. as an IT specialist (m/f/d)) or a comparable qualification
• Practical experience in application support of an ERP system
• Understanding of business processes in sales, purchasing and logistics, and their representation in the ERP system.
• Analytical thinking skills and a structured, independent work style
• Strong communication skills in German, ideally also in English.
• Enjoyment of coordinating with specialist departments, IT and external partners
• Team spirit, sense of responsibility and motivation for continuous development
• Knowledge of interface or EDI environments is advantageous, but not a requirement.
