QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, conditional formatting, data validation).
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and data accuracy.
  • Familiarity with CSV file formats and basic principles of importing data into systems.
  • Understanding of NetSuite item standards or ability to learn them quickly.
  • Basic knowledge of Chart of Accounts structure (Revenue, COGS, Inventory, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Able to adapt in a growing company.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Basic accounting knowledge, especially related to inventory and financial accounts.
  • Experience with mass data uploads and structured import templates.
  • Data cleaning, validation, and normalization experience.
  • Familiarity with Power Query, Smartsheet, or basic SQL (a plus).
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot import errors independently.
  • Understanding of inventory management concepts (Units of Measure, Item Categories, Assemblies).
  • Commitment to confidentiality and data security practices.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and format spreadsheets for NetSuite item imports.
  • Ensure all required fields (Item Name, Unit of Measure, Cost, Price, Categories, etc.) are complete and accurate.
  • Follow company naming conventions, standards, and Chart of Accounts structure.
  • Validate data for accuracy, consistency, and formatting before import.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or incomplete records.
  • Communicate with internal teams to clarify missing or conflicting information.
  • Maintain documentation of data sources, assumptions, and procedures.
  • Train new hires on the system following its implementation.
