Description

Piper Companies is seeking an ERP Technical Analyst who will support and customize ERP systems to improve business operations, reporting, and data integration. The ERP technical analyst will be remote but located in Raleigh, NC.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ERP TECHNICAL ANALYST INCLUDE:

  • Proficient in C# and SQL, including system customization, query tuning, and stored procedure development.
  • Enterprise experience using Windows server and SQL server platforms.
  • Previous experience with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP, including modules like QuickShip, Wireless Warehouse, and Epicor Data Analyzer (EDA).
  • Experience in data engineering and integration, using Azure Synapse, ETL processes, and APIs to support reporting and analytics.
  • Strong reporting capabilities with Power BI, and solid understanding of warehouse and distribution operations; holds Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the administration and optimization of the ERP system to ensure seamless integration and support daily operations.
  • Develop and deploy custom C# business logic to resolve system issues proactively to maintain high performance and reliability across the platform.
  • Build and manage enterprise-level data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Design and publish interactive Power BI dashboards to support financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-collaborate closely with teams to gather requirements, automate workflows, and deliver tailored solutions that improve efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and provide user training.
