Join our EME Supply Chain Management Hub in Amsterdam as an ERP Technical Consultant. You will play a key role in implementing and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Supply Chain modules. Collaborating closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and clients, you’ll translate business needs into robust technical solutions that streamline inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, and logistics processes across Europe.
Skills and experiences
Technical Consultancy: 3–5 years’ experience as a Technical Consultant or Developer for Dynamics 365 F&O (or similar ERP systems).
Development Excellence: Strong command of X++ for customizations and solution extensions.
Technical Proficiency:

Practical experience with:

• Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions (version control, CI/CD pipelines)
• Data Entities, Data Migration Framework (DMF), OData integrations
• Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), Dataverse
• Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions for workflow automation

Client Focus: Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, with a passion for delivering impactful, business-driven solutions.
Team Collaboration: Adaptable, proactive, and able to excel in agile, cross-functional teams.
Communication: Professional fluency in English (required); Dutch or French language skills considered a plus.
About you
Microsoft certifications in MB-330 (SCM), MB-500 (F&O Developer), PL-200 (Power Platform), or equivalent.
Experience with multi-country digital transformation or global rollouts.
Interest in AI-driven solutions such as Microsoft Copilot and emerging technologies.
Solid grasp of core supply chain business processes within ERP environments.
What you’ll do
•Solution Implementation:

Deploy, configure, and customize D365 SCM modules (Inventory, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Transportation) to address client requirements and industry standards.

• Technical Design:

Convert functional specifications into scalable, maintainable X++ and Power Platform solutions, aligned with Avanade’s architecture best practices.

• Development & Integration:

Lead custom development using X++, manage data migration (Data Entities, DMF), and integrate external systems via OData, REST APIs, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.

• Collaboration:

Work hand-in-hand with clients, Solution Architects, and Functional Consultants from requirements gathering through go-live to ensure successful project delivery.

• Quality Assurance:

Maintain high standards through code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization, ensuring stable and maintainable solutions.
