Description

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

We are looking for a Space Resources Exploration Engineer with demonstrated experience in both terrestrial and planetary geoscience to support the development of the Lunar Resource Reference Model (LRRM). The selected candidate will be responsible for the execution of key technical workflows including lunar data standardization, spatial analysis, geological mapping, and 3D geological modelling.
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing advanced workflows for lunar dataset standardization, spatial analysis, geological interpretation, and 3D subsurface modelling.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ingest, harmonize, and preprocess lunar geospatial datasets (e.g., NASA PDS)
  • Execute spatial analysis routines to generate multilayered geological, geochemical, and geophysical maps.
  • Conduct geological and structural interpretation of prospective lunar terrains.
  • Develop interpretive cross-sections and lithological frameworks.
  • Build and refine 3D geological models using Leapfrog Geo for lunar resources.
  • Support GIS-based delivery of prospectivity layers and stakeholder visualisations.
  • Generate resource classification maps and contribute to uncertainty modelling and data architecture.
