Description
The role will be responsible for managing ES EMEA financials for all Indirect Material and Services activities, Indirect & Logistics commission process as well as SCM KPI High 5 reporting and Working Capital Improvements (WCI/DPO). This role directly partners with Indirect Material and Services functional lead to act as a gatekeeper for financial integrity of function's financial results. This includes ensuring that financial reporting directly aligns to the P&L, providing analytics and strategic guidance, consolidating the results for the respective categories for all reporting cycles. It is also the analyst's responsibility to be the lead spokesperson to the ES EMEA finance team as well as the Global Supply Chain Finance team on the various impacts of Indirect Material and Services. There are various process improvement opportunities within this role to better manage indirect spend as well as the inflationary reporting and the cycle of updates Lead centralized process to provide divisions with Indirect Material and Services cost out and economics guidance, manage monthly results consolidation, support SLT reporting and reviews by providing and analysing monthly results and forecasts including appropriate commentary to the Division, Region, Sector and Corporate. Lead risk and opportunity process, highlight areas of concern and recommend improvement actions. Ensure alignment between P&L and associated memo rows. Act as a strategic business partner for Indirect Material and Services team to drive cost out and inflation targets and carefully manage risks and opportunities. Manage the profit plan process for Indirect Material and Services by coordinating multiple rounds of reviews with the divisions and functional leads. Ensure full P&L and memo row alignment. Drive process improvements and enhance standardisation and centralization opportunities across the Region regarding Indirect Material and Services finance activities. Lead and ensure a strong culture of financial controls and compliance. Support Indirect Material and Services SPIR approval reviews with ES EMEA leadership team which could include sensitivity analysis, validation of financial impacts, recovery options, etc. Support various corporate requests and initiatives for Indirect Material and Services data and system integration Manage ES EMEA monthly KPI reporting. Provide deep dives where needed to drive improvements and highlight focus areas. Lead quarterly Indirect and Logistics commissions process supported by COE Drive Working Capital Improvement (WCI/DPO) across Direct/Indirect/Logistics supporting implementation of the tools (e.g. SCF), validating country results versus regulations and DSO performance, supporting AP forecasting process Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution; MBA, CPA, and/or CIMA/ACCA preferred Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting and financial planning and analysis Thorough knowledge and understanding of manufacturing accounting & finance principles and concepts in preferably industrial manufacturing environments Strong understanding of standard financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and working knowledge and application of accounting principles and practices Ability to prepare and analyze financial and operational analyses/reports Prior cross-functional experience in operations, finance, supply chain, program management, supplier risk management Working knowledge of financial and ERP systems Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word software" Demonstrates professional presence, communicates articulately and confidently Acts as a strategic business partner and provides broad thought leadersh Strong analytical, influencing and communication skills Effectively challenges the status quo and champions new and innovative ideas
