WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 5 to 8 years’ experience in the IT industry with focus on networking and security in the Enterprise environment
  • Strong Unix and Windows system-level knowledge
  • Proven understanding of enterprise class security principals design and implementation
  • Knowledge of change control process in the enterprise
  • Must have minimum CCSE certification (Check Point Certified Security Expert)
  • Must be proficient in analyzing packet captures with tcpdump and Wireshark tools
  • Must be an expert is interpreting network environments at the L2/L3 OSI layers
  • Active listening and communication skills, coupled with the ability to share information, and networking skills
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of the Internet technologies supported (TCP/IP, Networking, Operating systems)
  • Strong personal drive and initiative
  • Ability to maintain a personal schedule that is conducive to job description and team performance.
  • Ability to work with support team to improve technical skills
  • Continue to stay current with technology
  • Ability to interface with Development to solve complex problems
  • Ability to clearly communicate Technical solutions (Strong Presentation, Written and Verbal)
  • Ability to use virtualization technology such as VMware

Responsibilities:

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Provide our customers with expert technical support and service through analytical skills (problem isolation and resolution), facilitate new installations , implementations , maintenance, education, and author documentation in support of the customers environment
  • Ability to prepare written technical reports based on historical trends and data
  • Communicating with clients, both at the engineer and management level
  • Working in a team environment, organizational ability for multi-tasking and flexibility is a must
  • Occasional travel to customer sites globally as required
  • Assisting Junior staff in resolving technical issues as required
  • Interfacing with R&D teams to resolve complex issues and bugs
  • Ability to understand and replicate customer environments for testing and troubleshooting locally
  • Deliver best in class service to our customers
