With unique engineering expertise, we provide comprehensive support for urban mobility, ensuring safety and efficiency in vertical transportation throughout the lifecycle.What we expectWe are looking for an experienced and passionate Escalator Service & Repair Engineer to join our London & South division based in Cambridgeshire (Milton Keynes/Peterborough/Cambridge), who will be responsible for servicing our clients’ escalators across their region.As an Escalator Service & Repair Engineer, your day to day will include:Servicing and maintaining customer escalatorsServicing escalator partsResponding to mechanical failures and breakdownsCarrying out safety checks and risk assessmentsPlanning and managing workload around assigned jobsMaintaining van stock and ordering supplies through our supply chainRecommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the escalators compliantOut of hours work on a pro rata basisWho we are looking forNVQ3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent qualificationsHold a full UK Driving License and able to travelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to use your initiative and work well with othersPositive attitude and receptive to changeExtremely organisedSuperior customer-care skillsThe ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal developmentAn advocate for H&S regulations in the workplaceWhat we offerCompetitive salary paid on a monthly basis34 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidaysAttractive company pension schemeHealth cash plan provided, allows you to claim towards health costs.
