Role Description: The Escrow Assistant supports Priority Settlement Group of Texas clients by managing files from the curative process through disbursement, working closely with the Escrow Officer to ensure smooth and timely closings. Duties and responsibilities Maintains pipeline of orders placed by customers. Communicate with clients and local vendor offices to ensure timely closings, meet monthly quotas, and monitor closing reports to uphold service agreements. Review title commitments, identify curative issues, and facilitate title clearance. Coordinate and schedule closings with all parties involved. Confirm closing details including date, location, required documentation, and funds due with borrowers. Address post-closing document corrections in collaboration with customers. Monitor the Work In Progress report to ensure task completion. Respond to inquiries from clients, borrowers, agents, and internal staff professionally and promptly. Maintain open and effective communication with clients, team members, and leadership. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Proficiency in reviewing Closing Disclosures or Settlement Statements, escrow functions, and title curative processes. Strong conflict resolution and issue identification skills. Ability to interpret title and closing notes accurately. Capable of working independently and collaboratively. Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage customer-driven task assignments. Skills and Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional lifting of light to moderate items may be required. Schedule Core Business Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Core Business Days: Monday through Friday Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week Work Location: In-Office: Austin, TX.
