JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Escrow Officer Assistant helps to facilitate real estate closings with lenders, real estate agents, buyers and sellers by working with team members to coordinate all parts of the transaction. The assistant works within their department to manage files from start to finish to ensure the highest quality of customer service and communication for our clients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Communicating with multiple departments on a daily basis to manage a files progress until completion.
Email and phone correspondence with Realtors, lenders, buyers and sellers from the beginning to the end of the transaction.
Establishing long lasting relationships with all clients to ensure the most positive experience for team members and customers alike.
Monitor payment and disbursements.
Review and follow the purchase and sale contract for each transaction.
Monitor and mentor assistants to ensure a smooth process for closing team and customers alike.
Continual communication with Title Department to ensure clear Title and appropriate vesting.
Oversee any and all issues with a file with all parties to ensure appropriate and professional resolution.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
*Minimum of 3 to 5 years Escrow/Title or Mortgage experience.
*Excellent verbal & written communication skills
*Professional email and telephone communication skills
*Working knowledge of closing statements and title commitments.
