OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Escrow Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with expertise in escrow processes, loan origination, underwriting, and fluent knowledge of the title insurance industry. This role is critical in facilitating smooth real estate transactions by ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and managing the escrow process from start to finish.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Escrow Officer or current Escrow Assistant with time at the closing table.
  • Strong understanding of Real Estate transactions, mortgage servicing, loan origination, underwriting, and escrow procedures.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and TILA requirements is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Proficient in basic math skills for accurate calculations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

  • Conduct thorough file processing and closing to ensure quality and compliance throughout the transaction.
  • Collaborate with loan officers, real estate agents, clients, and any other related parties to the transaction to facilitate communication from beginning to end.
  • Ensure compliance with all related regulations and specific guidelines during all transactions.
  • Prepare and review complete transaction documents, ensuring all terms are met before closing.
  • Utilize standard fraud prevention guidelines to ensure clients and all related partners are protected.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
