ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Escrow Officer / Mortgage Closer to join our in-person team in Clive, IA. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys guiding people through complex transactions, and takes pride in making closings smooth and stress-free. You’ll play a key role in our cash acquisitions while also supporting agents, buyers, and sellers when needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Guide transactions from start to finish — managing and facilitating closings for both acquisitions and resale deals.
• Own the paperwork with precision — review, prepare, and approve Closing Disclosures (CDs) and settlement statements.
• Support the full team — provide transaction coordination for agents, buyers, and sellers when needed.
• Solve title challenges — oversee title curative work to ensure every legal and financial requirement is met.
• Keep details tight — confirm closing dates, locations, documents, and funds due so nothing slips through the cracks.
• Make closings seamless — facilitate the signing of packages and ensure transfer documents are recorded accurately.
• Balance the numbers — handle payoffs, prorations, and invoices for clean, accurate settlements.
• Be the boots on the ground — courier between locations for abstracts, signatures, proceeds, keys, or on-site client meetings.
• Be the go-to contact — serve as the primary resource for clients and teammates on all closing-related matters.
• Protect trust and compliance — maintain alignment with real estate and escrow regulations, company policies, and deadlines.
• Pitch in when things slow down — help with client follow-ups, agent outreach, and other administrative tasks to keep SoldFast running strong.
