Job Summary Closing Specialist is a mid-level accounting role responsible for handling sensitive financial data. The specialist will be entrusted with reviewing, verifying, and processing financial information to ensure that all records are accurate and properly maintained.   Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Record closing information · Process orders · Maintaining files · Interaction with various software systems Qualifications Knowledge and Skills: · Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook) · Knowledge of general accounting principles, practices, and procedures · Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.) · Excellent time management and time critical prioritization skills. · Strong computer skills and easily adaptable to software · Self-motivated, proactive, strong attention to detail and a team player · 2-3 years of accounting experience: preferably in closings · Must be able to pass a background check and drug test   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
