YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in a fast-paced scale up business, customer service environment or other customer facing environment
  • 2-3 years experience working within a contract, compliance, legal, and/or ESG team environment
  • Experience of undertaking retros, reviews or audits of internal policies, procedures, and or processes and considering root cause analysis
  • Experience of managing projects and managing reporting against project goals
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will report directly into the CLSO, and your primary focus will be to support in maintaining and improving our performance under our ESG and compliance accreditations, implementing new accreditations (e.g. B-Corp certification), developing and implementing our ESG strategy, maturing our ESG practices across the business, developing ESG data and internal/external reporting capability, and championing ESG awareness and innovation, all of which allow support our growth aspirations and enhance our reputation with our internal and external stakeholders including our customers, suppliers, people and government agencies, in accordance with agreed objectives and KPIs.
As an integral member of the Business Operations Hub, you will also be required to support the Hub more broadly on legal, regulatory, & compliance matters in the delivery of its business operations service and on implementation and maintenance of existing and new UKAS ISO accredited management systems: e.g. quality, H&S, data protection and information security.
Through effective communication, advancing collaboration across the Hubs, and promoting exceptional operating practices, you will directly contribute to the positive experience of our customers and ultimately our people. Working in a fast paced, collaborative Hub, with a broad remit within the business, you will have the opportunity to manage Hub initiatives to enhance our systems, processes, and standards that support us maximising the positive impact we make to the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your day to day responsibilities shall include:

  • Assist in developing and managing the ESG and compliance programs to support business operations and consultancy services.
  • Support the CLSO with devising, organisation of and roll out of ESG activities and initiatives in alignment with agreed ESG roadmap
  • Ensure adherence to ESG compliance, including legislation and objectives, while maintaining risk mitigation and control measures across the business.
  • Conduct risk assessments, review audits (internal and external), and monitor ESG compliance across the organization.
  • Provide guidance on ESG compliance and support efforts related to ESG accreditations to our Hub and the wider business
