Datashift is a fast growing consultancy team with a focus on delivering solutions that answer business questions with data and facts. As part of our expanding ESG team, you’ll help leading companies modernize their approach to sustainability and ensure transparency in their impact.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

We are looking for a colleague who is thrilled to be a crucial contrinutor to our growing ESG offering. Next to that, following skills are important:

  • Ability to independently gather and analyze ESG business requirements.
  • Strong business communication and presentation skills to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Expertise in ESG data and indicators, frameworks, and reporting guidelines (e.g., CSRD/ESRS, ISSB, GRI, EU Taxonomy).
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills especially with IT and business teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with data modeling, architecture, and reporting applications.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ESG Investing, CESGA, CCI, or GRI).
  • Familiarity with key industries such as Automotive, Financial Services, and Life Sciences.
Responsibilities

As an ESG Data Analyst, you will:

  • Partner with clients to design, implement, and deliver cutting-edge ESG data and reporting solutions.
  • Support companies in creating value by ensuring transparent and impactful sustainability reporting.
  • Work across a variety of industries, including Automotive, Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, and Life Sciences.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Industrial Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Process Optimization, or Technology Integration.
  • A strong understanding of business processes and ESG indicators (e.g., carbon emissions, energy consumption, water usage, waste management, and governance practices).
  • English is required. Proficiency in Dutch or French is a plus.
