We are looking for a motivated ESG Intern who is excited to work with both data and people to support our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. In this role, you will join the EMEA ESG team based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands and contribute to key projects, particularly RE100 and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions tracking. You will also have the opportunity to support other initiatives, including sustainability reporting and training. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with cross-functional collaboration. What You’ll Do: Work with Data Collect, validate, and consolidate ESG-related data from internal stakeholders Analyze sustainability data to identify trends and insights Support data quality checks and audit processes Work with People Engage with colleagues across departments to gather and clarify ESG information Collaborate with different teams on sustainability initiatives Support meetings, presentations, and internal communication Reporting & Compliance Assist in preparing ESG and sustainability reports Help ensure compliance with standards such as CSRD/ESRS Research & Improvement Monitor ESG trends, regulations, and best practices Support benchmarking against industry peers to identify improvement areas Qualifications A student in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Finance, or a related field (based in the Netherlands) Passionate about sustainability and ESG topics Comfortable working with data and stakeholders alike Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook (data visualization skills are a plus) Communicative, proactive, and well-organized, with attention to detail Enrolled in a university the whole duration of the internship (6 months, starting Date: September 2026) Fluent in English Additional Information What we offer: Hands-on experience in ESG and sustainability A collaborative, international work environment Internship allowance
Responsibilities
