REQUIREMENTS

• You have at least 1.5-2 years relevant experience in the ESG sector (e.g. ESG advisory, ESG analysis, sustainability manager, ESG reporting manager).
• You have a strong understanding of the EU sustainability regulations applicable to companies, with a particular focus on CSRD. Your expertise includes providing advisory services for sustainability reporting in line with ESRS requirements to non-financial undertakings and financial undertakings (e.g., banks).
• You have not only experience in client-facing roles and but also possess the ability to fully manage and drive client relationships. You independently lead end-to-end projects, providing expertise to senior stakeholders on ESG and sustainability reporting requirements.
• You have exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• You are results-driven and have a solution-oriented mindset.
• You must be proficient in PowerPoint and Excel. Additional data/programming skills are a bonus.
• You must be fluent in both German and English.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a portfolio of high-profile clients providing end-to-end advisory on ESG topics.
• Develop clear roadmaps to help clients achieve their sustainability objectives and build effective ESG strategies, through a combination of hands-on consulting and software solutions. The role will have a particular focus on CSRD / ESRS reporting.
• Create client presentations and deliverables, using both qualitative and quantitative data to effectively meet client expectations. Responsibilities include conducting double materiality assessments, advising on CSRD reporting practices, and facilitating workshops for senior management to enhance their understanding of applicable ESG regulations (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, LkSG etc.).
• Collaborate with product/engineering teams to help build the market-leading ESG software solution. This could include communicating customer pain points and needs that can be solved with technology and sharing the results of pilot consulting projects to inform software development.
• Stay on top of the evolving EU regulatory developments impacting companies by conducting ongoing research and preparing detailed updates for client communications.
• Work with sales to win new clients by sharing ESG and client knowledge.
