Overview Position Summary The EHS Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting site leadership and the EHS Manager in driving a proactive safety culture, reducing risk, and ensuring operational excellence. This role partners closely with operations and site leadership to strengthen accountability, improve processes, and build EHS capability across the location. Responsibilities Lead and support strategic process improvements related to people processes and management systems to enhance leadership capability and ownership at the site Serve as an active member of the Site EHS Committee, contributing to daily and weekly safety processes and initiatives Oversee new hire orientation and EHS onboarding, ensuring consistent, effective integration of safety expectations and requirements Partner with the Site Management Team and Standard Holders to meet risk management and accident‑reduction targets Drive a proactive safety culture through effective communication, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with operations leaders to conduct incident investigations, identify root causes, and develop sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence Assist the EHS Manager with: Internal and external audits Closing EIOS action items Updating MY EHS risk assessments Maintaining and revising safety programs Additional EHS assignments as needed Deliver clear, engaging safety presentations to large employee groups Adapt effectively as responsibilities evolve, demonstrating flexibility and agility Demonstrate a growth mindset by actively pursuing new skills and knowledge (e.g., leveraging Degreed and other development resources) Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,200 - $90,200. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
