An opportunity is available for an experienced ESL Teacher in an elementary school setting located in Chicago, IL. This role is a contract position for the current school year (CSY), designed for educators passionate about supporting English language learners in their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English as a Second Language instruction tailored to elementary students.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that support language acquisition and literacy development.
  • Assess students language proficiency levels and track progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to provide comprehensive educational support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid ESL teaching certification or licensure.
  • Experience teaching English as a Second Language to elementary-aged children.
