OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English As A Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English to non-native speakers, with a focus on creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. This role involves working with students of various ages and backgrounds, helping them improve their English language skills for academic, professional, or personal growth.
Currently, we are looking for casual teachers to cover for holidays and illness.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in teaching or tutoring English as a second language, preferably with young adults.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
  • A background in education or related field is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with different cultural backgrounds and sensitivity to the needs of ESL learners.

  • Must have a university degree
  • A Canada TESOL approved certificate with a minimum of 20 hour practicum
