Seeking an experienced ESL Teacher with Spanish language skills to support middle school students in a vibrant educational setting. This contract position is for the current school year and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on learners developing their English language proficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging ESL instruction tailored to middle school students linguistic and academic needs
  • Incorporate Spanish language skills to assist English Language Learners in comprehension and communication
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to create inclusive lesson plans
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds
  • Participate in professional development and school meetings as required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification with ESL endorsement or equivalent qualifications
  • Fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written
  • Experience teaching ESL in a middle school environment preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
  • Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Commitment to student growth and cultural sensitivity
