An opportunity is available for a dedicated ESL Teacher to support K-12 students in a full-time role near Lowell, MA. This position focuses primarily on a high school caseload and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year on a contract basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging, standards-aligned English as a Second Language instruction to support language acquisition and academic achievement.
  • Assessing student progress and adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with students, families, and school personnel.

Qualifications:

  • MA DESE ESL Teacher certification is required.
  • Experience teaching ESL students in a K-12 setting, preferably with a focus on high school learners.
  • Strong understanding of language development and culturally responsive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
