An elementary school in Aurora, IL is seeking a full-time bilingual ESL teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position involves working with 4th and 5th grade self-contained classrooms to support English language learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering ESL instruction in both English and Spanish to elementary students
• Creating lesson plans tailored to bilingual learners needs
• Supporting language acquisition and academic development for English Learners (ELs)
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and staff to foster inclusive learning environments
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
• Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), preferably in elementary grades
• Skilled in working with bilingual students and diverse cultural backgrounds
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to develop and implement bilingual instructional strategies
