CMDB Tech Lead ================ Job Title: ServiceNow CMDB Technical Lead Experience: 8–12+ years overall, 5+ years in ServiceNow CMDB / ITOM Role Summary Seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Technical Lead with strong expertise in CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations to design, govern, and optimize an enterprise CMDB aligned to business services. Key Responsibilities • Lead CSDM-aligned CMDB architecture, CI modeling, relationships, and lifecycle management. • Drive ServiceNow Discovery across on prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. • Design and maintain Service Mapping (top down and horizontal). • Implement CMDB integrations using REST, and third party tools. • Configure and manage IRE, reconciliation, and data normalization. • Establish CMDB governance and data quality using CMDB Health dashboards. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping • Integration experience with Intune and Qualys • ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs) • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and ITIL processes Soft Skills • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms • Leadership and mentoring capability • Structured, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • ServiceNow certifications: o Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery o Certified Implementation Specialist – Service Mapping o Certified System Administrator (CSA) • Experience with ITOM Visibility, ITAM, and APM • Experience in large-scale CMDB transformation or maturity programs
