Responsibilities

As an ESP Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing installation/pulling of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and associated equipment.
  • Assisting and managing of ESP equipment in order to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.
  • Operating equipment in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintaining assigned equipment, performs daily inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements
  • Reporting all operational deficiencies to Supervisor and maintenance personnel
  • Performing equipment inspection and maintenance as requested and completes paperwork
  • Assisting in performing basic troubleshooting of equipment
  • Practicing safe driving procedures when travelling to and from locations
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environmental policies, Legal Compliance requirements

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Have a previous mechanical or electrical background
  • Provide acceptable drivers abstract
  • Have 2 years minimum on ESP technical related background, preferred
  • Possess general knowledge of machines, tools, and banding materials, including their uses, repair, and maintenanc
