To assist with our expansion in ESS we are seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to provide cross-functional support to our team.
Summary: In this role you will provide comprehensive day-to-day HR advice and guidance, fostering positive employee relations, recruiting candidates, performance management, compensation and benefits and other HR projects to support the business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Act as the main HR contact for employee queries and provide policy guidance.
  • Deliver precise and compliant HR operations in a timely manner, with the highest degree of accuracy.
  • Devise and update HR policies, procedures and documentation in line with legislation, advise managers on their application and ensure compliance at all times.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports on key metrics.
  • Manage probation, performance reviews to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide support with Performance Management activities. Guide managers as they handle performance issues, specifically in the areas of performance improvement plans, writing and delivering effective performance reviews.
  • Responsible for resolving employee relations issues, working with managers to provide guidance regarding disciplinary actions and handling policy violations.
  • Applies and interprets policies and procedures to basic and complex employment issues. Ensure compliance to EU Directives and Irish Employment Law. May recommend changes to policies and procedures based on business trends.
  • Perform exit interviews. Analyse trends and provide summary reports to management.
  • Be accountable for HR processes such as talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding, culture and engagement initiatives that drive a high performing team.
  • Partner with different business leaders and functions to proactively manage HR related activities.
  • Drive a positive employee relations culture; proactively resolves issues and mediate conflicts.
  • Promote and initiate new employee engagement programmes and encourage employee’s involvement.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of HR systems, analyse metrics and provide insights to drive decision-making.
  • Drive the recruitment process, working locally with the Hiring Manager and TA team to achieve the best results while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process. Responsible for employee files and relevant documentation in relation to new hires, changes and leavers ensuring audit compliance at all times.
  • Lead and/or participate in departmental/cross functional projects.
  • Benchmark HR best practices and develop company-wide HR initiatives and programs in line with business requirements
  • Manage existing compensation and benefits programs and benchmark similar industries to ensure competitiveness.
  • Lead Graduate and trainee development programme in conjunction with cross functional team.
  • Designee for Head of HR & Culture when required.
  • Support the development of team members.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the Company and the requirements of the department.
