  • High School Diploma or GED(Preferred)
  • Two years clerical, office, or related experience (Preferred)
  • Good computer and word processing skills (Preferred)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (Preferred)
  • Familiar with FERPA (Family Educational Rights to Privacy Act) requirements (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of IDEA regulations, and familiar with required IEP and MET components (Preferred)
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Strong Customer Service skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance card is required.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Enter all new and returning students into PowerSchool and to State reporting system
  • Submit and track all private day school students
  • Inputs ADE voucher student information into SAIS and PowerSchool
  • Prepare and distribute home school letters
  • Prepare and submit annual public notification
  • Works with registrars to monitor daily drop lists
  • Provide district teachers/psychologist with a monthly list of IEP and MET due dates
  • Provide monthly student counts to ESS Director
  • Assists in gathering State end of the year data collection information
  • Submit, finalize and print AIMS-A reports
  • Assist with ordering supplies for schools during July
  • Maintains calendar of meetings for the Director
  • Perform general clerical duties, as requested
  • Exhibits patience, courtesy and tact when dealing with others
  • Answer phone, when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
