Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the provision of day-to-day Front-Line Security for the estate.
  • Interact with all stakeholders, visitors, tenants and management team, dealing with any requests and escalating these where required to the estate Security Management team via the estate Security Control Room.
  • Carry out regular patrols and inspections, both internal and external across the estate including car parks, utilising the MyTag smart patrolling and compliance system.
  • Working with the various Front of House Security teams providing relief cover for breaks.
  • Maintaining good order on site including the protection of everyone therein against violent acts, abuse and accident.
  • The protection of private property belonging to the client, their staff and visitors against loss, theft and damage.
  • Ensure basic fire precautions are in place and means of escape are kept clear.
  • Providing full reports on all maintenance and security related issues
  • Escalating any contractor issues to the onsite FM / Estate Security Control Room.
  • Provide information for and in accordance with company disciplinary procedures
  • Assist in training new staff to both the client’s and the company’s standards
  • Comply with company health and safety procedures
  • Maintain a high standard of communication and good working relationship with all other staff, visitors and contractors
  • Carrying out all duties as required in a professional and diligent manner
  • To liaise with retailers to assist and advise them on complying with estate rules and licencing laws.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Assist with any Investigations of thefts, complaints and incidents as required
  • To record and report all incidents
  • To record and report all accidents
  • To assist as directed in the event of any full building evacuation / major incident
  • To be deployed on estate events.
