Role Overview
As an Estate Planning Consultant, you will:
- Engage with Clients: Conduct appointments in diverse settings including hotel meeting rooms, client homes, and via video calls.
- Educate and Advise: Clearly explain the benefits of our comprehensive legal planning services, helping clients make informed decisions.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with current legal principles and best practices in estate planning.
- Leverage a Steady Lead Flow: Benefit from a consistent schedule of appointments generated by our well-established seminars.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Appointments: Attend meetings scheduled by our company and provide expert guidance on estate planning.
- Service Education: Inform clients about wills, lasting powers of attorney (LPAs), trusts, probate services, and other legal offerings.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with our customer services and internal support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Seminar Participation: Attend our later-life legal planning seminars to engage with prospective clients.
- Accurate Documentation: Use our standardized instruction forms to capture detailed client needs, ensuring all meetings are recorded for quality assurance and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Experience: A strong background in estate planning, with training to IPW or SWW standards or legal qualifications.
- High Ethical Standards: A commitment to acting in the best interests of clients and the firm, ensuring quality work and minimizing risk.
- Effective Lead Management: Skill in converting provided leads into successful outcomes, including generating referral business.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Empathy, customer focus, and the ability to identify and address client needs effectively.
- Clear Communication: Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for a diverse client base.
- Confident Presentation: A natural flair for engaging clients during meetings.
- Consultative Mindset: Enthusiasm for our products and a consultative approach to client interactions.
- IT Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and adaptability to custom software solutions.
- Mobility: A full UK driver’s license and access to a modern vehicle.
