Join us in a practical, hands-on leadership role managing estates maintenance and ensuring compliance across the College’s diverse, multi-campus estate. You’ll lead a team responsible for day-to-day building and facilities upkeep, statutory inspections, and the safe operation of college premises. This includes managing contractors, delivering minor works, and supporting larger capital projects, with a strong focus on Health and Safety, compliance, and the smooth running of physical estate services.
The post will be situated at Hereford, serving Herefordshire College, Holme Lacy College, and Ludlow Sixth Form College.

A relevant degree or evidence of ongoing professional development in facilities management (e.g., membership of IWFM or IOSH), education sector experience, technical knowledge of building plant equipment, budget management, and project management skills.
Other Requirements: Willingness to travel and work across multiple sites, with occasional flexibility in hours to meet the needs of the college, such as covering sick leave or supporting events. A valid driving license is also essential.
