ESTATES AND FACILITIES MANAGER

Evolve Care Group’s Estates and Facilities department is expanding in line with the strategic growth of the organisation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to long-term estate planning, capital project delivery, and the optimisation of our care environments.
Located close to Aztec West in Bristol, Evolve Care Group is seeking an Estates / Facilities Manager to join our team. This role is office-based and does not involve working within a care home, it focuses on providing essential support to our homes and properties across the South West. You would act as contact for faults, ensuring compliance, building strong working relationships with external contractors, negotiating, carrying out specific projects and research, and being involved in the decision-making process.

Responsibilities
  • Full-time position: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Long-term planning for estate assets and capital project management
  • Deep understanding of health & safety (e.g., HSE) and fire saftey.
  • Delivering large-scale refurbishments or new builds on time and within budget.
  • Overseeing financial aspects, including managing budgets, cost-saving initiatives.
  • Handling escalated issues and making informed decisions to address challenges within estates and facilities operations.
  • Taking greater responsibility for ensuring compliance with regulations and policies across the estates and facilities portfolio.
  • Processing daily fault reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Acting as the first point of contact for Estates matters (internal and external)
  • Assisting with the coordination of Estates projects and compliance-related tasks
  • Visiting care homes for audits/inspections (monthly)
  • Researching product specifications and comparing costs to support procurement
  • Liaising with external contractors to arrange servicing and maintenance
  • Preparing weekly reports and maintaining compliance documentation
