REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma plus a minimum of two years’ experience in related financial services responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting financial advice and administration in a digital or multi-channel environment is considered an asset.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for providing guidance and support to staff in the administration of estate and power of attorney processes.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and the ability to process information accurately and efficiently.
  • Confidentiality & Professionalism: Maintains a professional and composed manner while handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities

You will play a key role in supporting the Credit Union’s estate and investment processes. This role is responsible for leading the administration and completion of estate accounts, and serves as a subject matter expert in estates and powers of attorney (POAs). The Estates and Investment Administrator creates and maintains clear and consistent procedures to guide staff in these areas, working closely with internal teams and legal counsel on complex or non-standard files. In addition to estate-related responsibilities, this role supports investment processes by preparing documentation, submitting regulatory filings, and providing information on registered products. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and member-focused service in all activities.
