We are seeking three Apprentices to assist in the day-to-day running of the Facilities Department.
HARD SERVICES:
Estates Maintenance- P.P.M.& Lifecycle Works-Commissioning of new build and refurbishment works-Project works.
This will be made bespoke to encompass training via industry recognised Training providers (approved qualification will be achieved), mentoring, 1 to 1 training sessions and on the job training, aiming to attain the required experience and ability to provide an efficient and effective auditing role in support of the services contracted or provided as part of the PFI and NHS in-house service provision.
To work closely with teams within Estates & Facilities that you have been assigned to. This will rotate in relation to the apprenticeship program.
Fulfil daily tasks required when placed with each team.
Attend meetings, contribute, and gain knowledge.
To undertake the daily audits; joint audits, ad-hoc audits / inspections and monitor the facilities management service provision within the clinical and non-clinical environment.
To support the matrons, sisters and environment leads with day-to-day issues.
To generate information, this includes compiling information from a variety of sources.
To support the Facilities Manager, PFI & Non-PFI, other members of the Estates & Facilities team as directed, with projects, as and when required.
To produce reports and records as and when required.
To receive and record all relevant documentation in line with local procedures.
To maintain data and filing [manual and electronic systems].
Record evidence to be used within your studies.

The grade for this role is Band 2. T he Annex 21 salary is 75% of the top of the band. Because this would fall below the London Living Wage, the salary has been adjusted up to bring it in line with the London Living Wage : £27082.00
The post holder(s) will be involved in providing general day-to-day support to the Estates and Facilities team within the UCLH Estate (PFI & Non-PFI).
The role of a Trust Facilities Apprentice will be a band 2 and will include training and support to achieve an apprenticeship in Facilities Services Operative – Level 2
